Membership Levels
Active ($25 annually): Available to individuals only. Membership includes a subscription to North American Bird Bander.
Sustaining ($50 annually): Includes the same membership benefits as an Active membership; however, you are supporting WBBA at a higher level.
Life ($300 one-time payment): Available to individuals only. Life membership monies are invested in an income-generating account. The principal cannot be spent; however, the income funds WBBA grants and other WBBA projects.
Student/Intern/Volunteer ($15 annually): Available for the first two years of membership to low-income banders in these categories. The individual’s institution, organization, or master bander must be indicated.
Institutional ($40 annually): Available to all organizations, whether for profit or not.
Non-subscribing ($15 annually): Does not include a subscription to North American Bird Bander.
WBBA represents banders in the U.S. states lying wholly west of the 100th Meridian, Canada west of the 110th Meridian, and Mexico west of the crest of the Sierra Madre Oriental.
As of June 1, 2011, WBBA has 216 members in six countries, including many members outside the WBBA region. Members include individuals and organizations; amateurs and professionals; and active, former, and non-banders. All share an interest in the wealth of information that can be obtained by banding birds.
