Join us at the Western Bird Banding Association Annual Meeting in beautiful Alberta, Canada! This meeting will be held at Waterton Lakes National Park in southern Alberta.

Banding site: Wishbone MAPS Station, Waterton Lakes National Park, Alberta, Canada.
Please also consult the map for the border crossing nearest your route if you are travelling from the USA. The closest one to the park is the Chief Mountain Summer Station, on the east side of Glacier National Park, and only a 5-minute drive from the campground. Peigan Port of Entry is farther east in Alberta. Neither of these stations are open 24 hours, so confirm their hours before making your travel plans. Roosville Port of Entry, on Highway 93 north of Eureka, MT, enters into British Columbia, and is open 24 hours a day. A valid passport is required to enter Canada and to return to the USA. The Going-to-the-Sun Road in Glacier National Park may have timed entry restrictions during the summer, so check for those if that is your preferred route.
Our organizing committee is looking forward to seeing you. The committee includes Cyndi Smith, Julie Hovis and Danielle Kaschube. Contact Danielle Kaschube with registration questions at (609) 892-0445 or dkaschube@birdpop.org
Number of participants: Each participant may attend only one field session (except facilitators), unless the other session is not full, but may attend all other workshop sessions.
Workshop Synopsis:
Friday, August 21: afternoon classroom session at the campground
Saturday, August 22: morning field session, afternoon / evening meeting with presentations
Sunday, August 23: morning field session, afternoon classroom session at the campground

If you wish alternative accommodation please make your own arrangements.
